It looks like the biggest winner from the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard saga might end up being the woman who systemically demolished the latter over two months in court – Camille Vasquez.
According to the NY Post, Vasquez is being flooded with offers from big time Hollywood law firms trying to steal her away from her New York City firm Brown Rudnick. Industry insiders say the world is her oyster:
“Talent agents are circling Camille because they recognize that she is the unicorn — a smart, savvy, poised attorney whose impactful performance during the trial propelled her to a rare level of visibility. And the fact that she is a woman of color is an added bonus.”
What an unbelievable rise to superstardom. A couple months ago nobody had a clue who Camille Vasquez was, and now she’s a household name and the most in-demand lawyer in the world. Which makes sense given her masterclass performance in court these last 8 weeks or so, doing what she did in front of millions of people watching on social media.
