Camile Vasquez Will Defend Johnny Depp In Another Court Case Next Month

I don’t think anyone had any idea who Camile Vasquez was until about six weeks ago, but her excellent performance in the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial and the fact that she was flirting with Depp the whole time has pretty much made her a household name.

With that in mind, I’m sure everyone’s gonna be super stoked to hear that Vasquez and Depp will be teaming up again next month for another court case! It’s a bit early in Hollywood terms for a sequel, but I guess the fans just couldn’t wait for this one.

All joking aside, this is hardly going to be as big a deal as the Amber Heard trial and probably isn’t going to be televised either as Depp is taking on some guy called Gregg ‘Rocky’ Brooks who worked with him as a location manager on the movie ‘City of Lies’ back in April 2017. Brooks is accusing Depp of punching him twice in the ribcage whilst on set and then claims that Depp offered him $100,000 to punch him in the face afterwards. He’s also saying that Depp was heavily intoxicated at the time.

Brooks is specifying undisclosed damages through the lawsuit. His lawyer Pat Harris wants to make it very clear that this is a very different case to the Amber Heard affair, saying the following:

Brooks’ case is not about two Hollywood celebrities involved in a toxic relationship.

It is about the assault of a hard-working film crew member by the star of the production.

Mr Brooks looks forward to his day in court.

And that day will be coming very soon – on July 25th to be exact. Depp is obviously fighting Brooks’ claims, arguing that he received his injuries because he provoked others and that those who injured him – presumably not Depp himself here? – did so in self defence or the defence of others.

Sounds like a really weird defence/case and I’m not really sure how it’s going to play out, but I’m sure we’ll all be enthralled in Johnny Depp’s world again for a few days come the end of July. Someone called Emma Danoff has already given a sworn declaration on Depp’s behalf so I imagine he’ll get out of this one as well. He’s just so charming!

With Camile Vasquez by his side, he’s got an absolutely deadly lawyer too. Don’t mess with the dream team. This Brooks guy really doesn’t have a shot here.
