The cringiest video on the internet this week features a ukulele-playing busker ambushing Dua Lipa at Glastonbury and playing her 30 seconds of his sh1t music, as she looks like she’d rather be anywhere else on the planet. Here’s a reminder:

Obviously it takes some balls to just walk up to Dua Lipa like that and start playing your ukulele while acting like you’ve just sold out Wembley, but unfortunately the song was no good at all and now this lad is getting absolutely rinsed online.
Well, the street musician, who goes by the name Liam C, has now issued a response to the haters online, with a short and sweet message on Twitter/X:
I guess that’s as good a statement as he can put out that this point. Now all Liam C has to do is actually write some bangers where he does something with his ukulele other than slapping it every few seconds to punctuate his sh1t lyrics. After that, track down Dua Lipa and give it another shot?
In fairness to Liam C, he does seem to have got more positivie reactions out of other famous musicians he’s ambushed at festivals:

It would be the most 2024 thing ever if Liam C somehow becomes a music megastar after being shut down by Dua Lipa, but fair play to the guy for cracking on either way. No doubt we’ll be seeing more of him at festivals around the UK in the future.
