Everyone knows what they’re getting when it comes to Wetherspoons – a cheap round and some dirty food.

But for some areas of the country, namely Birmingham, this establishment is about as good as it gets. This point has been proven as for some reason, Brummies have been taking to TripAdvisor to review the many Wetherspoons pubs that litter the city.

We’re not quite sure why but who cares? If Birmingham wants to show its love for the franchise then so be it – it makes for some funny reading. Here are a few of the reviews so far:

I particularly enjoyed the review titled ‘Fiddly deep?’ Perhaps they should think about a career in food critiquing. That person’s got skills.

Seriously though, I’m not sure what’s going on with Brum’s Wetherspoons pubs, but one thing I do know is that I’m going to have to experience one next time I’m in that end of the country.
