The great British public is being trolled by Americans online after they got wind of our tabloids describing the incoming 26c weather as a “heatwave”, with 48 hours of actual summer set to break the cold spell at the end of the June.

Just mocking us all over the internet ffs. Of course no one in the UK actually thinks that 26c is a heatwave. We’re basically getting two days of summer according to the forecast, so I’m sure we’ll be able to manage.
Then again, British homes are built for insulation which keeps the heat inside, and our homes don’t have air conditioning either. Which are points that many great British patriots are making online as they attempt to quell the American trolling onslaught:

Still, as good as the ‘no air conditioning’ argument is when we try to defend ourselves against American weather trolls, maybe it’s time that British people just invest in some air conditioning and be done with it?
Yeah it’s not ideal given that energy costs are already out of control, but at least it will keep American from taking the mickey out of us every time the media starts moaning about a 26c heatwave.
