It’s pretty obvious that Britney Spears has some complicated mental health issues that could be exacerbated by her possibly taking drink and drugs. Crystal meth, though? That would be pretty nuts, even for Britney.

Well according to ex-husband Kevin Federline and Britney’s dad Jamie, it’s very possible that Britney is on meth, and they want to tell the whole world about it in hopes it will shame her into cleaning her act up. K-Fed told MailOnline:

“I fear she’s on meth — I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.

Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news. I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.”

In the same interview, dad Jamie Spears referenced Amy Winehouse, who died of alcohol poisoning in 2011. He reckons Britney could end up suffering a similar fate:

“Britney may die like Amy. Compare her wellness then and how she is doing now.”

Federline receives a hefty $40,000 in monthly child support from ex-wife Britney, so I guess that’s another reason to worry about what could happen to Britney. He’d have to actually get a job instead of leeching off Britney like he’s been doing for the last decade or so.

Not sure that publicly accusing Britney of being on meth via The Daily Mail is the best way of going about things, but maybe her family really do believe they’ve run out of options. Although this will probably result in her going on another unhinged Instagram rant where everyone ends up even more worried about Britney than before.

I guess putting her back under the dreaded conservatorship is out of the question? Let’s not even go there.
