You may have caught the story over Christmas about the British woman who ended up spending Christmas Day in a jail cell in Pattaya, Thailand, after she (allegedly) tried to have sex on a glass table in the lobby of a hotel.

Mum-of-one Jude Hill, 42, from Plymouth, is said to have straddled her partner on a couch in the lobby of the Flipper Lodge hotel at 3am on Christmas morning. When they tried to move things over to a glass table (again, allegedly), the furniture shattered and Jude legged it onto the street with hotel staff running after her.

She ended up wrestling with Pattaya police in the street until they eventually put her in handcuffs and took her to jail. Here’s the footage:

Jude has now spoken to MailOnline about the incident and insists she most definitely was not trying to have sex on a table, and reckons the whole thing was a set-up by the hotel working with police to scam her out money. Here’s what she said:

‘I most definitely wasn’t having sex on a table.

‘If I was having sex on a glass table, which my son’s got one in his room the same size, which is tiny, I would be cut to pieces, do you know what I mean?

‘I ain’t got one single mark on me apart from where I had the handcuffs.’

She does admit she was completely off her face, but reckons she was probably spiked:

‘I was obviously intoxicated, it was Christmas Eve.

‘But I was all right. I’d met the guy quite a few times before. We went out, we was drinking, I feel like I got spiked.

‘But then he like swept off in the mist when it was all going on.’

Jude says she and her lover were ‘trying to get a room’ but were told that the hotel was full so they sat on the sofa in the lobby. She is adamant that she did not have sex on the lobby table, but doesn’t dispute what happened next on the street:

‘I was kicking off because they was pulling my hair and dragging me like I was a dog down the street.’

The mum-of-one says she was dumped in a jail cell ‘full of faeces’ where she was kept until 5pm on Christmas Day:

‘I was calling the jailors and they just acted like I wasn’t even there.

‘And then they made my son come down and pay 30,000 Bhat ($1,400) to get me out.

‘I was in a cell with a Cambodian woman, three young children, and about four other girls. It was awful.’

Sounds pretty awful tbf. In the end, she says she was told she would be jailed if she did not cough up some cash:

They said if you haven’t got the money by 5:30pm, then you’re going back up to the [cells], and you go into court in the morning and then you go to jail.

‘The police station and the hotel, they’re all in it together.

‘They’re corrupt. They just want money. I’ve got no conviction, no nothing. But it wasn’t very nice, I’ll tell you that much.’

She’s not very happy with the man she was allegedly straddling either, having got in touch with him following her release:

‘He said, “Get over it. I tried”. What a guy. That’s why I don’t give a s*** about him.

‘I’ve got pictures of me with him that night, him grabbing me, kissing me.’

‘I’ll stick his face on the front page if the price is right. I don’t owe him no loyalty.’

In a way though, she’s actually quite pleased with the whole experience and what it could lead to:

‘I’m on TikTok, I’m on YouTube. It’s been the most viewed thing on the internet for the last few days.

‘But the flack I’ve got, it’s like I’m a celebrity. Such horrible comments. It’s mental. like I know how they feel now.

‘But I can’t believe the stardom it’s given me. Even here (in Thailand) I’m walking out of the lift and I’ve got people clapping at me.

‘I’m walking down the street, everyone’s laughing.

‘It’s funny, but it’s embarrassing. That’s why I want people to know that I’m not gonna have sex on a flipping table, which was tiny, in a hotel lobby.’

‘Everyone says to me, I should have my own TV show. This could be a foot in the door.’

Wishful thinking, but who knows? I’m sure there’s more than a few horny weirdos out there who would be happy to subscribe to Jude’s OnlyFans, so she better strike while the iron’s hot on that one.

Also on the plus side, she was out of jail in time to celebrate her son’s 18th birthday on Boxing Day. Living it up with your mum in Pattaya? Fair enough:

For what it’s worth, here’s how staff at the Flipper Lodge hotel where this all went down relay the incident:

 ‘Both of the foreigners were not hotel customers.

‘They were drunk and entered while we were working, and we didn’t notice them because we thought they were our customers, so we didn’t pay attention.

‘After a while, they did something obscene. They started trying to have sex on a glass table, causing it to break along with other property.’

The staff member continued: ‘We approached them and discovered they were not hotel customers, so we ushered them out.

‘However, they refused and caused a commotion, so we took them to the police station to file a report and calm them down.

‘We will need to proceed with pressing charges because they damaged the hotel property and must take responsibility, though it’s not a huge issue.’

Well, one thing we can say about Jude is that she sure knows how to party (allegedly). Flying the flag for us Brits out in Thailand. You go girl!
