So my narcissistic parents abused me for 16 years before I ran away from home. Now they’re trying to bully their way (via family, they haven’t bothered to speak to me personally) into getting an invitation to my wedding. There was really only one way to respond.

Ouch. Those are some real family issues right there. Sounds like her parents are morons so they probably deserved it. What must have been their reaction when this invite arrived in the post though? Probably got super excited that they got an invite, regardless of any problems they had with their daughter. Maybe they even wanted to use the wedding as a special occasion to make things right with her after all these years. Were probably already hugging and crying and shit when all of a sudden they open the letter and boom — it’s not a real invitation at all. Just a big elaborate ‘fuck you’ disguised as an invitation. Devastating.
