Breaking Bad may have finished years ago, but it’s still a much loved television show that continues to live long in the memory, which is why Breaking Bad themed bars are still popping up.

The latest location for ABQ (that’s short for Albuquerque where the show is set) is Manchester after previous sold out stints in New York, London and Paris. Tickets cost around £25 – £35 and get you a two hour spot inside the bar – which is actually a converted RV – and three cocktails.
A few of these can be seen in the pictures below, including their famous signature cocktail ‘The Lab’. This consists of lemon vodka, maraschino, thyme, lemongrass, rosemary and cardamom, garnished with a dry ice infusion of lemon and lavender with crème de violet bubbles. Sounds delicious.
The founder of the Lollipop collective which is putting on the event, Seb Lyall, said the following:
No doubt ABQ is one of the most interesting and fun projects we have built in the last few years and I am happy that finally it is going to be open in Manchester.
Yeah, it sounds like it’s going to be kind of fun although I’m not really sure what the point of sitting in a themed bar for two hours is. You kinda wanna post up at the bar and spend a few hours there, not have a time limit and a drinks limit. I guess you can just talk about Breaking Bad for a couple of hours and then move onto the next bar and talk about some real stuff after that though. Worth it?
