We’ve known for some time now that Vince Gilligan had been working on a Breaking Bad movie, but we unfortunately don’t know much about it or even who is going to be starring in it.

What we do know now though is that it’s finished filming. Bob Odenkirk let it slip when he was being interviewed about season five of Better Call Saul and the talk inevitably turned towards the Breaking Bad movie:

I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.
OK so that isn’t really telling us anything, but I guess the good news is that it’s finished shooting which means it’s one step closer to it actually coming out and us finding out what the hell is going on in it. Rumours are swirling around that the movie follows Jesse Pinkman following his escape from the compound at the end of the series, but other than we haven’t got the foggiest what will be going on in it.
