Everyone knows who Salad Fingers is – the guy (?) was pretty much the first ever internet meme – but we’ve faced a long long wait since the last episode of the phenomenon with the previous instalment coming almost five years ago.

The wait is over though with creator David Firth premiering the latest episode on YouTube. We’re pleased to say that it’s vintage Salad Fingers with the titular character ripping up some finger puppets and then being tormented by a ghostly mirror version of himself.

That doesn’t really do it justice so you should probably just wait until your lunch break and press play:

Well that was worth the wait wasn’t it? Just as weird as ever and I haven’t really got any clue what was going on with it, but I absolutely loved it again. Strange how something that’s so off kilter can be so popular isn’t it?

Hopefully we don’t have to wait another five years for another episode, but even in the past there’s been a fairly lengthy wait between them so it’s safe to say we won’t be seeing the strange dude for some time. Savour it while you can.
