Boomtown made the decision a couple of years ago to not reveal its lineup until a couple of weeks before the festival, arguing that it was more of an immersive experience these days rather than the solely about the artists playing like most other festivals and having attended on multiple occasions, I can vouch that that is an accurate description of what you’re letting yourself in for.

However, we’re all obviously still interested in who is playing and the Boomtown lineup just dropped this afternoon. There’s an absolute plethora of artists playing over about ten different stages, with big names including The Prodigy, Cypress Hill, Andy C, Beenie Man, Sister Slegde and Peaches all gracing grand central  but highlights from every genre all over the shop. Yep, looks like it’s shaping up to be another banger this year doesn’t it? In case you’re still on the fence about going, here’s a video from the music team that does a pretty good job of displaying all the carnage you can expect from the festival.
