LA-based MC, Blu. drops his free LP, NoYork!, fittingly on the same day that New York City was hit with its first earthquake. Probably best known for his 2007 debut with Exile, Below the Heavens, Blu. seems to be named as one of the best up & coming MCs every year for what seems like the past 5. However, with NoYork!, Blu. raises the bar he set back in 2007. I will say it now – NoYork! is the best thing Blu.’s done since Below the Heavens and is a great introduction for those unfamiliar with Blu.’s earlier work.
