Blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga has a whole load of followers who claim she predicted 9/11, the rise of ISIS, the 2004 tsunami, Brexit, Chernobyl, and that a black man would become US President. Vanga actually died in 1996 — over 25 years ago — but it’s said she predicted all those things before she passed.

Normally I would just dismiss this sort of thing straight away, but Baba Vanga was 85 years old, Bulgarian and blind – which are 3 things you would expect someone who can predict the future to be.

So it’s at least worth considering her top five predictions for 2025, which are as follows:

1) Devastating war breaks out in Europe

2) Alien contact

3) Advancements in telepathy

4) Lab-grown organs

5) Limitless energy source will be discovered

Wow, surprisingly not all doom and gloom this year (aside from the devastating war breaking out in Europe, and maybe the aliens landing, and reading each other’s thoughts). Now I know what you’re thinking – there’s a war in Ukraine already happening. Is it possible Baba Vanga got her years/predictions mixed up? Or is she alluding to another, far more catastrophic and far-reaching war that will kick off in the next 12 months? Time will tell on that one.

Baba Vanga also predicted that by next year we’ll all be reading each other’s thoughts, which would be an absolute nightmare for everyone involved, at least until we get used to telepathic communication. She also claims that 2025 will finally be the year that aliens make contact with us lowly humans on planet Earth. What’s more – Baba Vanga predicts this will happen during a major sporting event in 2025! The Champion’s League final, maybe? Half-time at the SuperBowl?

Lab-grown organs would indeed be an absolute game-changer, meaning we could do away with organ donors and just grow ourselves a new kidney or liver or brain any time we need it. This would legitimately be one of the biggest achievements in modern medicine! So let’s hope Baba Vanga knows what she’s on about with this one.

Same goes for Baba Vanga’s prediction that there will be a ‘sudden and mysterious’ discovery in the world of energy; specifically the discovery of an energy source that is clean, limitless and unlike anything we’ve seen before. This would literally end the energy crisis worldwide! It would be borderline miraculous! It does seem incredibly unrealistic though, unless it ties in with the aliens arriving and maybe bringing this limitless energy source as a gift to us.

Safe to say – Baba Vanga has gone big for 2025. Which you can’t do every year, especially when you’ve made predictions for every year up until 5079. Does Baba Vanga have special future-telling abilities? Is she full of crap? Is a broken clock correct twice a day? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
