Like I said earlier today, if you’ve been on social media in the past few days you’ll know that everyone has been going crazy about the Binley Mega Chippy in Coventry because of its stupid name and a dumb song that was written about it, but now its fans are gutted to know that there’s another Mega Chippy in Huddersfield.

For reasons that I can’t really explain but are probably similar to the ones that have led hundreds of people to trek to the Binley Mega Chippy to sample their chips and curry sauce and film themselves dancing outside it, a whole bunch of people have now taken to social media to decry the Huddersfield Mega Chippy and talk about how shit it is. Yeah I’ve been covering viral trends on the internet for a really long time now and every now and again something comes along that just makes no sense whatsoever and this Binley Mega Chippy thing is definitely one of them.
