Tech billionaire Bryan Johnson, 45, went viral recently for revealing he spends $2M a year to ‘reverse the aging process’ so he can have the organs of an 18 year old and body of a 37 year old.

You might already think he sounds like a bit of a cxnt, and that’s certainly the view of his ex-fiancée Taryn Southern, who claims Johnson dumped her after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, claiming it was a ‘bad deal’ and a ‘net negative’ for him.

According to Southern, Johnson demanded she move out of her home they shared for three years while she was in active treatment for Stage III breast cancer. He did allegedly promise to support Southern financially and medically for the ‘rest of her life’ – so that’s nice. Except he backed out of that promise once he’d got rid of her.

Film director Southern has now taken Johnson to court, accusing him of ‘controlling’ and ‘manipulating’ her into ‘devoting all her time to his personal and professional needs’ before ruthlessly dumping her. MailOnline got their hands on the lawsuit, which states:

Defendant Johnson pushed Ms. Southern to share a full list of her past sexual partners with him and describe the sexual acts that took place.

Ms. Southern had endured Defendant Johnson’s pattern of manipulative and coercive behavior throughout their relationship; however, once in cancer treatment, when aggressive treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, antibody infusions, and targeted therapies left her emotionally and physically vulnerable, Defendant Johnson saw his opportunity to force Ms. Southern under an intense and targeted campaign of physical, emotional, and financial distress to execute an agreement that purported to silence Ms. Southern and curtail her entitlement to financial support, and payment of outstanding debts and equity in Kernel.

He called her ‘bad deal’ and a ‘net negative’ – referring to her cancer diagnosis.

He also allegedly barred her from posting about seeking a new place on Facebook as it would ‘make him look bad.’ Which I guess checks out for a guy who spends $2M a year on a team of 30 doctors who keep him looking ‘young’, even though he looks a bit like a wax vampire.

Johnson, who sold his payment company Braintree for $800million in 2013, wakes up at 5am, takes around two dozen supplements a day, and eats a strict vegan diet of blended foods. Have to respect the grind in that sense, but if Southern’s story is to be believed, there’s not much else to respect about the guy.

Still, you might say that he dumped her as brutally as she would’ve dumped him if he suddenly went broke overnight. Not that dumping someone because they suddenly became poor is as bad as dumping someone because they got cancer, but you’d suspect his ruthless character is something Southern would have known about, having been in a relationship with him for 3 years. Not blaming her of course as she’s obviously got the short end of the stick here, but I sense this was a transactional relationship between two people who are probably as shallow as each other to be together in the first place. Onwards and upwards for the both of them, I hope.
