If you thought Billie Eilish was cool and edgy before, wait till you hear what she told Rolling Stone this week – she absolutely loves masturbating, thinks everyone should be doing it (pretty sure they are), and enjoys watching herself masturbate in front of a mirror especially.
In fact, she says that her masturbation routine has helped her feel more confident with her body:
“TMI, but self-pleasure is an enormous, enormous part of my life, and a huge, huge help for me. People should be jerking it, man. I can’t stress it enough, as somebody with extreme body issues and dysmorphia that I’ve had my entire life.”
On the value of masturbating in front of a mirror:
“Partly because it’s hot, but it also makes me have such a raw, deep connection to myself and my body, and have a love for my body that I have not really ever had. I got to say, looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking ‘I look really good right now’ is so helpful.
“You can manufacture the situation you’re in to make sure you look good. You can make the light super dim, you can be in a specific outfit or in a specific position that’s more flattering. I have learned that looking at myself and watching myself feel pleasure has been an extreme help in loving myself and accepting myself, and feeling empowered and comfortable.”
Personally I can’t think of anything more mortifying than watching myself w*nk while I w*nk, but to each his/her own.
Turns out Billie Eilish also loves having sex too. Here’s how she responded when Rolling Stone asked how she likes to ‘decompress’ (aside from masturbating):
“Sex. That shit can really, really save you sometimes, just saying. Can’t recommend it more, to be real.”
Spoken like a 13-year-old boy who is lying about losing his virginity to all his friends. Although clearly Billie Eilish is not lying – she’s female, 22, ultra rich and successful, and has gazongas galore:
Well anyway, I guess we should admire her honesty. Good on Billie Eilish for speaking so candidly about her masturbation habits and how much she loves sex, as it’s something that’s rarely talked about by female musicians. On the other hand, maybe we didn’t need to know so much about it?
Either way, if you’re someone who likes to take advice from people who are way more successful than you, it’s time to start playing with yourself in front of a mirror.
