Bill Murray is one of those actors that I’m pretty sure everyone loves as he just seems like a loveable old rogue doesn’t he, but it turns out that he’s another one to add to the list of problematic handsy old men. It just never stops does it?

Reports are coming out that Bill Murray was responsible for shutting down production of movie ‘Being Mortal’ back in April after kissing and straddling a young female staffer on the set. Here’s what a memo sent to the crew that has recently been leaked said:

Late last week, we were made aware of a complaint, and we immediately looked into it,.

After reviewing the circumstances, it has been decided that production cannot continue at this time.

This actually came up at the time back in April and Murray actually appeared on CNBC to address the accusations, saying that he did something that he thought was funny but it was misinterpreted and he was deeply sorry for his actions. However, it’s now being reported that Murray took place in mediation with his accuser and ended up paying her $100,000 to sign an NDA and settle the matter, so I’m not really sure what to make of that as that sounds like it’s pretty much an admission of guilt.

I guess it’s a hard one to call and he seems sorry, but is that enough when what he’s doing is essentially majorly creepy and weird? Probably not for most people out there, but I’m also fairly certain I’ve heard some gross stories about Bill Murray before and somehow he’s avoided cancellation up until this point.

Maybe now is his time, but if there’s anyone that can get through this other than Johnny Depp then it’s probably Bill Murray. A lot of people will probably hear about this and just be like ‘but it’s Bill Murray, come on!!!’ You can see that happening right? Guess we’ll see what goes down.
