Over the months and years Sick Chirpse has brought you good folks a healthy portion of top Lego based art. Most recently we featured a completely functioning Lego exoskeleton, before that there was a tortoise who had its back legs replaced with the multipurpose bricks. And who can forget the legendary album covers recreated in 100% Lego? But despite all of this stiff competition, I think this is my favourite Lego project to date.
Brendan Powell Smith has recreated pretty much every single scene in the entire Bible with Lego and named it The Brick Testament. So far he’s managed 424 stories with 4,613 illustrations. That’s a lot of pushing and clicking going on.
I thought I’d bring you a few of my favourite scenes from the Bible for you to enjoy. The best thing about this project (other than the actual pictures of Lego Lords obvs) is the following disclaimer:
The Bible contains material some may consider morally objectionable and/or inappropriate for children.
HA! Good one. So without further ado, here’s your Biblical fill. They start out pretty simple, but pleasing none the less…
