Ben Affleck has become one of the most meme’d men on the planet over the years owing to how stressed out and miserable he looks all the time. So much so that apparently not even being married to Jennifer Lopez (twice) can bring a smile to his face.
In fact there’s some evidence to suggest that J-Lo was a primary source of Ben Affleck’s stresses, for example this clip from almost exactly a year ago where he seems to be having the worst day ever with her:

Fast forward a year later and the couple are now headed for their second divorce, with a source close to Affleck telling Page Six that the actor has “come to his senses” about his failing marriage to the singer. The source said:
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
Wow, that’s pretty mean. If he said it. But even to say he said it is pretty f*cked up. For all we know J-Lo could be an absolute nightmare of a person to be with, but it’s still pretty harsh to have that said about you in public.
I mean, temporary insanity?! That’s quite the claim. But then he did also throw Jennifer Garner under the bus when they split up by saying he’d still be an alcoholic if he was with there, so it seems Affleck has previous for this sort of thing.

It’s just a shame that such an accomplished actor and singer who are both in their 50s even need to have such a public and messy love life, but I guess when you’re that famous you can’t do anything without it turning into a PR circus. I guess all that’s left is to wish them a happy divorce?
P.S. It’s not all bad news, Gwyneth Paltrow said this week that Ben Affleck was ‘technically excellent’ at sex! Though not as good as Brad Pitt, apparently…
