A young football fan who mocked Barcelona defender Inigo Martinez as he left the training ground got something even better for the TikTok video he was filming: footage of Martinez getting out of his car and confronting him to his face!
Apparently the young lad was yelling that Martinez was “stupid”, which seems pretty tame as far as football insults go, but the Spaniard was having none of it:

Martinez tells the fan:
“‘The last time you called me stupid, did you hear me? The last time you call me stupid, the last time you insult me. And your friend the same. I warn you.”
Welp, unfortunately Martinez has kinda proved the fan right because he’s now gone viral for confronting a child, whereas I don’t think anyone would have really cared about the video if he just ignored him.
Obviously no one likes to be insulted, but that’s (part of the reason) why footballers get paid the big bucks: because they’ve got to put up with tw@ts like this who call themselves “fans” but will still troll you for a few likes and some attention on social media.
Don’t get me wrong, I love that he confronted this kid and made him poop his pants a little bit, but as with Kalvin Phillips at West Ham on the weekend, in the long-run it’s best to just not react:
