One of the biggest stories of the week has undoubtedly been James Corden getting banned from a New York restaurant after he was abusive to the staff and then everyone and his uncle coming out of the woodwork to share a story about how he was a massive dickhead like it was something that nobody had ever heard before.

Anyway, Balthazar owner Keith McNally has now performed a massive U turn on the whole situation by unbanning Corden after he phoned up to apologise for his behaviour and now taking to Instagram to reveal that he actually feels really sorry for the actor/talk show host given the worldwide backlash he’s now facing. Here’s the post:
Well I suppose at least he’s acknowledging that he’s a coward in that post, but it’s kind of funny that his solution to his problem is just to get drunk. Typical Brit I suppose.
Anyway, I can appreciate he probably feels responsible for how everyone is piling in on Corden this week, but the truth is that nobody could have predicted how viral his post would have gone so he shouldn’t feel bad about it. And the main fact to remember here is that there are so many of these awful stories about Corden over the years that people should be calling him out for being a prick because he quite clearly is one. Screw that guy, I’m getting drunk with Keith McNally. Much more badass.
