The art world has always been provocative, but I don’t think that I’ve ever seen anything like the video below. I’m not really an artist though so it’s probably not even that shocking.

The short documentary details the art of the 23-year-old Kaplan twins – Allie and Lexie – who have recently found fame after creating an exhibit of paintings of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. They also threw in a couple of pictures of Paris Hilton, Melania Trump and themselves too for good measure.

Hell, why not even have strawberries stuck up their asses which are also smothered in chocolate for their pictures too?

Yeah, that was certainly interesting right? I’m not an art critic so I don’t really know what to say about this. I suppose the girls are correct in saying that all art is supposed to start a conversation and painting something as controversial as a sex tape and calling the exhibition ‘Make Me Famous’ is certainly going to do this, but it just seems so crass and like it’s shock tactics for the sake of it really. It just seems totally designed to offend people and get everyone talking, rather than actually doing anything of any real substance.

Like I said though, I’m not an art critic so I haven’t really got anything useful to say. Fair play to them for getting famous and making loads of money off this idea. The paintings are pretty decent too in fairness to them.
