A Ukrainian man has legally changed his name to ‘iPhone 7’ after an electronics store offered the latest Apple phone to the first five people to do that.

20-year-old iPhone Sim (Seven) got the prize on Friday. But even though he got what he wanted, he says he’s going to keep the name and will only return back to Olexander Turin when he has kids. What a dumbass.
To be fair to him, the price of the phone starts at $850, so he has saved himself a bit of cash (it only costs $2 in the Ukraine to change your name). However, I don’t get why he isn’t going to switch back. He’s probably one of those guys who “lives for the banter.”

iPhone’s family says that they were initially shocked but are now supportive of the idea. His sister Tetyana Panina said:
It was difficult to accept that and hard to believe it’s true.
Each person in this world is looking for a way to express himself. Why not to do that in this way?
Ey? I think Tetyana is looking too deeply into this. I don’t think he’s changed the name as a form of personal expression. He just wanted a free iPhone.
