As far as horror movies go, I would argue that ‘A Quiet Place Part 2’ is probably up there with the most anticipated of the year and with good reason – the first instalment revolutionised the genre with an idea that was as simple as it was effective. SPOILERS.

The new movie sees Emily Blunt reprising her role as Evelyn alongside her two children as they seek to navigate the planet following the death of her husband. There is some good news for fans of John Krasinski though – it looks like he’ll be making at least a cameo if the new trailer is to be believed as he shows up in a flashback sequence.

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.

Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realise that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Sounds like more of the same only with a whole bunch of new characters getting involved as well, and you generally know what that means. More characters = more problems. Good luck to the Abbots come March 20th.
