We’ve got a frontrunner for 2024 Dad of the Year with this clip out of London, where a man is seen shoving and berating a bus driver as his three-year-old daughter looks on.

The clip shows the confrontation yards away from where the 364 bus to Dagenham East is parked, with the irate passenger (or would-be passenger) accusing the bus driver of not stopping the bus for him:

Now obviously it’s always frustrating when a bus doesn’t stop for you like it’s supposed to, but that kind of reaction is way OTT. Besides, do we even know if this prat was stood at a designated bus stop? Or was he just trying to flag the bus down from the pavement, which I’m pretty sure isn’t allowed?

Either way, it’s not the sort of thing a three-year-old needs to be seeing. Fair play to the bus driver for keeping his cool and not engaging, which would have made things even worse and maybe even resulted in him losing his job.

Thanks to the guy filming, the angry passenger may just find himself banned from boarding the 364 again. Maybe should have thought that one through before losing his head in public.
