The pissed off father of a sick baby claimed the NHS is being ‘destroyed’ as he confronted Boris Johnson during a hospital visit.

As per Metro, Omar Salem (a Labour activist as it happens) challenged Boris at the London hospital over there not being enough doctors and nurses on duty, which meant his 7-year-old daughter ‘nearly died yesterday’.
He tells Boris:
There are not enough people on this ward, there are not enough doctors, there’s not enough nurses, it’s not well organised enough.
The NHS has been destroyed … and now you come here for a press opportunity.
Watch below:
Not sure what Boris was thinking trying to play it off like there was no press there when they’re literally standing there a few feet away filming the conversation, but he set himself up for an extra bollocking there.
Responding to Omar Salem’s claim there were not enough doctors and nurses on a children’s ward, Alan Gurney, chief executive of Whipps Cross hospital, said:
We are constantly reviewing staffing levels on our wards to ensure our patients are safe at all times, but occasionally – as in fact happened on this ward last night- an unexpected emergency in one part of the hospital can cause a temporary pressure elsewhere.
Well anyway, Boris claims he will pump more money into the NHS but it remains to be seen whether that will actually happen. Probably won’t be that legendary £350m he claimed Brexit would save.
Speaking of which, here’s how Boris Johnson manipulated Google into hiding the search results about his promises of a 350m cash injection. Sneaky stuff.
