We haven’t heard much from Andrew Tate after he was finally released from Romanian prison a couple of weeks ago and decided to celebrate by walking around the place he was under house arrest in with his top off, but now it’s emerged he’s facing even more problems from women he’s allegedly wronged in the past.

Everyone knows that Tate is currently being investigated for sex trafficking over in Romania, but he’s now facing a lawsuit from three women in the UK who are accusing him of sexual assault and physical abuse. It’s fairly well documented that he was investigated by police over these claims a while ago but they never decided to charge him because they decided there wasn’t enough evidence – apparently now a lawyer thinks that the charges could stick though.

Here’s what solicitor Mike Jury had to say about it:

Their allegations include rape, sexual and physical assaults, including holding guns to women’s heads, strangulations including with belts, allegations of the most awful behaviour towards women.

When they went to the police their allegations were not treated seriously, the police didn’t take effective action. The evidence was there.

We’re aware of the evidence that was provided, it should have been sufficient to warrant proper criminal intent investigation and, in our opinion, for charges to be brought.

If those charges had been brought, and he’d been arrested here in England, then perhaps he wouldn’t have fled to Romania where he is reported to have committed further terrible crimes against women.

I suppose the guy sort of has a point there, but if the Hertfordshire Police couldn’t find enough evidence then or thought that there wasn’t enough to bring the case to trial is there really going to be enough now? Actually all you really need to look at is the Sarah Everard case and everything else that has come out about the police recently to think that they might sympathise with someone like Andrew Tate, so maybe it isn’t that surprising that they left something overturned or let Tate off on this one?

I’m pretty sure there were some Whatsapp voicenotes between the girls that seemed to imply they were making stuff up about Tate that came to light, but it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. I’m sure Tate is already screaming that there’s no evidence – maybe finally a court of a law will get to decide that though.

For more of the same, check out this guy’s immaculate impression of Andrew Tate. Never be not funny.
