Earlier this week, Coronation Street actor Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan on the soap, apologised for liking numerous Tweets by Andrew Tate and claimed he had no idea what Tate was really about when he did so.
Which is a little hard to believe, given the Tweets that Adam liked included:
’30 more days on house arrest. 30 more days suppressed. I haven’t been free for a single day this year. The battle rages against Shaitan.’
‘The Truth Will Prevail’
‘Any man whos afraid to professionally fight isn’t allowed to discuss mindset on the timeline.’
In any case, Adam sh@t himself after The Sun reported on his interaction with the Tweets, and issued the following statement:
I’m really sorry if my “liking” of these tweets has caused any offence to our viewers and my colleagues. I wasn’t aware of Andrew Tate and his background and I would never endorse those views. I liked some of his tweets in the moment with no reference to his back story. I will be more careful in future.
Naturally, Tate caught wind of all this and fired a couple Tweets in Adam’s direction, calling him a p*ssy:
I teach men to become filthy rich.
You can be an actor – but they still have you by the balls.
He agrees with me, but backtracks like ickle pussybowy or he gets FIRED.
Money is ULTRA important to escape the slave mind.

Ironically, Adam Hussain’s current storyline in Coronation Street involves his character confronting and taking revenge on a rapist, so I can see why show bosses would be nervous about him endorsing an (alleged) one outside of the show. At 22 years of age, Hussain is basically Tate’s target audience, and I don’t believe for a second that he didn’t know Tate’s history before liking his Tweets, but I guess saving his job and career is more important than Tate fanboying online. Fair enough really.
P.S. Seems Tate has recovered from the assassination attempt on his life yesterday, so that’s nice.
