Russian MMA fighter Anastasia Yankova recently won a fight against U.S. opponent Veta Artega at the Texas-held Bellator 161 Fighting Championships.

Quite clearly she wanted to celebrate and let her fans know how happy she was with the achievement, but I don’t think any of them were ready for the post-fight picture.
She decided it would be a good idea to show the price of victory on Instagram, by posting a selfie where looks completely and utterly battered. Ouch.

She wrote:
This is MMA, babe.
Had an elbow dance with my girlfriend. Now I look like a beggar at a railway station.
This is how I will look for the next couple of days.
Yankova also shared the following images a couple of days after that, saying, “Halloween, I’m ready.”

A load of her fans were kicking off at the picture saying that she looked a state, but I guess it is all part of the job description. And anyway, she managed to earn $100,000 for that fight, so it’s not all doom and gloom.
