I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time looking for photos of Russians doing weird and stupid things over the last couple of years. Some might say it’s become an addiction, but I would refute that. I think it’s just a passion. Some people wake up at 5 am every day to practice the javelin or ride their horse, no one thinks that’s weird. My hobby just happens to be searching out jokes pictures from Russia, what’s wrong with that?
However, on my trawl through Ruski media and social sites I often come across some pretty awe-inspiring photos of the wilds of Russia, abandoned buildings and remote towns. So today I thought I’d share some of the more beautiful pictures of Russia that I’ve found on my interwab wanders.
A country as big and varied as Russia is bound to have some epic flora and fauna. In the north it clambers well into the Arctic Circle and its southern most tendrils borders with North Korea and Azerbaijan. To its west it has Eastern Europe and in its east it rubs shoulders with China and Alaska. The place is unbelievably massive…

The first few are from the far east of Russia, it’s a pretty wild end-of-the-world type place and a marine sanctuary…
