Amanda Bynes – there’s a name we haven’t heard in a while. The 36-year-old was one of the brightest young prospects in TV and film throughout the 90s and 00s, starting as a child star for Nickelodeon and eventually landing her very own The Amanda Show from 1999 – 2002.
Like many child stars, Bynes struggled massively with drug use and various mental health/personal problems. Well it turns out she’s been under a Britney Spears-style conservatorship for the last 9 YEARS, but now that it’s come to an end she’s ready to embark on the next stage of her career… as a rapper? Good luck to Amanda Bynes on the rap career if that’s her focus now. The “after” of child stardom is a tough place indeed (unless you’re Macaulay Culkin, I guess).
