I am all too aware that everyone and their dog has heard this song, but Aloe Blacc’s sikly soulful voice needs to be heard on repeat until the end of time. Period.
I started watching ‘How to make it in America’ on account of hearing this song in the opening credits, I just knew it was going to be quality TV. Check out the video for yourself to see comedy drama which shows two guys hustlin’ to make some dollar on the streets and succeed in the New York fashion scene. Fellow musician Kid Cudi also makes a few cameos in the series, so keep your eyes and your eyes peeled.
Aloe is one to watch, his album Speaking of Good Things is out later this year and will feature elements of soul, jazz, hip-hop and R&B.
