We’ve blogged about Alica Schmidt once or twice before when people started referring to her as the ‘world’s sexiest athlete’, and it looks as though the 22-year-old German is about to take that moniker to the big stage after confirming she will be a part of the Tokyo Olympics this summer.

Must say I’ve never been particularly into German track and field but that all changes now that Alica has qualified for the summer Olympics. I’ve never been more interested!

Alica is pretty damn good too. She came second in the U-20 European Championships back in 2017 and third at the U-23 Europeans in 2019. She’s also got 1.7 MILLION followers on Instagram. How’d she manage that, I wonder?

I do not know why I got this title. Sport comes clearly first.
There are thousands of girls on Instagram who look good and still do not have as many fans makes you interesting, and that’s just competitive sport for me.

Just goes to show that some people are simply blessed with the full package – good looks, genetics, talent, and all the rest of it. I mean imagine being a world class athlete and conventionally beautiful and respresenting your country at the Tokyo Olympics at just 22 years old. Alica Schmidt truly has it all! I’ve got a feeling she’s going to do some damage this summer. Watch this space.
