What is it about Aldi and Lidl and other budget supermarkets that make them constantly put out some of the most excellent offers I’ve ever seen?

Just when you think they can’t get any better, they go and do it again. This time Aldi has kindly decided to sell one of the best steaks in the world for just £7.99.
It is of course the fabled waygu beef steak that their offering at this discount price for a limited time only and when you compare it to other similar outlets you’ll realise how much of a bargain you’re getting – for example at Harrod’s they charge £35 for 100g and you’re getting 227g for £7.99 here at Aldi. Gotta love Aldi.
There is obviously a catch though and that’s that the two cuts of steak you can choose from – Specially Selected Wagyu Ribeye Steak or Specially Selected Sirloin Steak – are available in the SpecialBuys section of the supermarket and that means that there are only a limited number of them available and no restock. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Better get a move on.
If you don’t manage to get one though don’t worry – another one of the best steaks in the world is also available at Morrisons and it only costs £7.56. Result.
