A tourist was brutally thrown down a flight of stairs following a heated row with her Airbnb host over a late check-out – in an incident police are treating as a ‘racist attack’.

In horrific video footage, the tourist can be heart being told to leave the apartment in Amsterdam.
The host manhandles the woman’s luggage before allegedly shoving her down the stairs, causing her to be rushed to hospital with internal injuries:

An Airbnb spokesperson says:
We will take the strongest actions we can against such abhorrent conduct, including banning people for life from our platform and assisting law enforcement with their investigation and potential prosecution.
Nobody should ever be treated like this and it will not be tolerated.
After all the horror stories about people renting out their homes on Airbnb and returning to find condoms hanging from the ceiling and cigarette burns all over their urine-soaked couches, a late check-out seems a bit of a minor issue. Definitely not something to get physical over. Here’s hoping the guy faces an appropriate punishment.
