I always thought it was a bit weird that 38 year old Paula Williamson – who had appeared as an actress in Coronation Street and Emmerdale – had decided to marry Charles Bronson whilst he was in prison after the pair built up a relationship after five years of writing to each other, but nevertheless I wished them the best of happiness and didn’t want to be writing the story that I’m writing today about them.

Reports are coming in from Stoke On Trent Live that Paula has been found dead in her home this morning. Here’s the official line from Sttaffordshire Police who have confirmed that the body was hers and it was picked up today in Sneyd Green:

A woman from Stoke-on-Trent who was found dead this morning (July 29) has been named as Paula Williamson, aged 38.

Paula’s body was found in a house on Gordon Avenue, Sneyd Green, at around 7am.

A post mortem will take place to establish the cause of death but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A report is now being prepared for the Coroners.

Next of kin have been informed.

The family have asked for their right to privacy to allow them to grieve at this difficult time.

That doesn’t sound too good does it? It was known that Williamson was seeking an annulment from Bronson on the grounds that the two had never actually consummated their marriage due to prison rules and he was hoping to marry a pensioner called Joan after this was approved, but I don’t wanna speculate about the reasons for her death. RIP and thoughts with the family instead.
