If you grew up in the late 90s, there’s absolutely no way that you didn’t have Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater for your Playstation or PC or whatever because it was literally THE game to won back then. Absolutely phenomenal stuff.

Although the series has gone downhill recently, it’s still remembered fondly all over the world and it’s therefore no surprise that Activision might be remaking the first two editions. Of course, the first game was reimagined back in 2012 by the company but apparently prototypes of new versions of the first two are doing the rounds at the company according to well respected games journalist Sabi:
I shared this info with just a few people, such as @GenosPapa. Interestingly, Liam Robertson just mentioned this info in his podcast, seemingly corroborating the info. Nobody seems to know if both games are being fully remade, or if it’s just a test for something else.

Hmmm that isn’t really that clear is it, but I suppose it’s still pretty cool? Thing is do we really need these games remade? You can probably play the originals fairly easily via an emulator or whatever and although the graphics would be better now, surely it would be better for them to just make a new Tony Hawk’s game that’s actually good rather than the crappy one that they gave us last time? Just saying.
