Aaron Ramsey has never been the most spectacular of players – sure he had one purple patch where he scored about 8 goals in 10 games or something, but for the most part he’s just a fairly solid and reliable midfield who’s capable of a bit of magic on his day. Your typical Arsenal midfielder really.

That’s why it’s completely out of the blue that he’s decided to get a new hairstyle for the Euros and it looks beyond terrible. Like completely and utterly perplexing, the kind of thing you might only get done if you were forced to on your stag do or had to join Jedward or something. Take a look below:

Geez and we haven’t even seen what it looks like from the front yet. He posted that on his Instagram and wasn’t even like ‘hey new hairstyle guys’, it was all about him hanging out with his son and he thought he would just casually throw his new hairstyle in there as well and maybe nobody would notice, or at least not rip it too hard. Yeah Rambo, I don’t think that’s going to go down too well for you there pal.

The situation is made even worse by the fact that Ramsey has just taken over Mikel Arteta’s number 8 shirt at the club and this was also worn by none other than Samir Nasri, who currently has a similar hairstyle too. This has obviously prompted silly accusations of him copying Nasri’s hairstyle and wanting to follow in his footsteps and look like him, which just makes it even funnier despite it being really stupid.

However, it should be noted that his hairstyle is nowhere near as dumb as that of Diego Simeone’s son.
