I regularly talk on these pages about how seagulls are complete and utter assholes and that’s exactly what I’m going to do right here again after one actually succeeded in pretty much beating a woman up in Dundee.

Angela McQueen was walking to her job at the Premier Inn when one of the vicious birds swept down and attacked her, pretty much pushing her over onto the ground. Here’s what she had to say about the incident:
It came as a shock, and it made me fall over. When that happened, it felt like it was getting really close, too.
I got back on to my feet, and I was walking away but I didn’t know what to do to get away.
It seemed like it wanted to chase me out of that area. It was right at my head, squawking really loud. It was so vicious.
I won’t lie, when I came to work this morning I saw a chick and I did everything I could to avoid it.
There have been other people swooped at by the gull, and it seems to go for people who are walking alone. I hope it doesn’t happen again.
It sounds as if the seagull was trying to protect its chick from the potential threat of McQueen – chicks often leave the nest before they can walk properly and seagulls react to this my mobbing any dangers that come near to them.
Sounds like McQueen probably should have done a bit more to try and avoid the chick if she was aware of what might happen to her if she continued on that path. Everyone else should probably just be careful if they see one because it sounds as if these seagulls are not messing around.
For more of the same, check out this teenager get slammed in the face by a seagull on a 75mph slingshot ride. Lol.
