A Mum’s 50th Birthday Turned Into A Massive Brawl Like Something Out Of Shameless

We’ve all been at those family get togethers where everyone has a little too much to drink and people end up saying things that they probably shouldn’t be saying, but I doubt anyone will have attended anything as rowdy as the video below.

The footage comes courtesy of Lisa Keegan’s 50th birthday bash. The action all kicked off when 40 year old family friend Adam stole an e cigarette from one of the teenagers at the party, causing Lisa’s 50 year old boyfriend to get involved and kicking off the brawl. Things then begin to escalate and it’s probably better to just let you watch it then try and describe it (Lisa’s analysis of the situation is underneath):

You’re only 50 once and this is certainly a birthday I’ll never forget! It was mayhem.

Adam was just winding people up, and he took [a lad’s] e-cig. Tony stuck up for him, but instead of punching Adam he was punching me.

They couldn’t pack a punch between them because everyone was so drunk. I was in the middle of them to break it up, but I should have just left them to it.

The video’s hilarious. It’s like something out of Shameless. I was like Meme. When I fell over backwards I just started laughing. Even the dog was barking to tell them off.

When I watched it back, I thought ‘oh my days’. I was embarrassed. We’ve been getting a lot of stick about it but some people are calling me a legend. A lot of my friends think it’s brilliant.

I guess brilliant is one way to describe it, but it really is a mess and it makes me glad that I don’t attend anything even remotely like that. Favourite part was probably where the woman fell backwards over the chair when nobody was even around her. Or maybe just how sunburnt Lisa was throughout the whole thing. Or how when at the very end that guy’s just standing there with his top off. There’s a lot going on in the short amount of footage to be fair.

Anyway, I suppose I’ve got a while before my friends start turning 50 though, so maybe it’s something for me to look forward to in the future. Aim high.
