Reason number 1,678,747 why social media is a disease – a live streamer got into a car crash while on stream and his first, immediate reaction was to think about the clip he just captured on camera. Watch below:
“Wow that’s a clip”
Kick streamer’s first reaction to being in a car crash was to ask chat to clip it
— Dexerto (@Dexerto) December 4, 2024
Literally about 2 seconds between the time that vehicle rear-ended him and the streamer exclaiming “wow, that’s a clip! Clip it!” to a grand total of 6 viewers watching his livestream. The guy didn’t even hesitate! He wasn’t even mad in the slightest and of course had zero concern for the other driver who smashed into him or anyone else that might’ve been caught up in the collision. Just smiling the whole way through because he managed to catch an interesting clip on his stream, even if that interesting clip could involve serious injury or worse.
On the other hand, that clip is probably going to be seen by his insurance company, although I’m not sure how they’ll feel about him livestreaming while in traffic, or driving with an expired plate which he confesses at the end there. I don’t even think this lad is bothered either way, because all he seems to care about is that he got himself a clip that will live on the internet for all eternity. Everyone else around him is freaking out and assessing the damage, but all he can say is “clip it!” and “RIP car.” 2024 in a nutshell, I suppose.
