A woman who spent $11,000 on a nose job says fixing her “biggest insecurity” finally gave her the courage to divorce her husband. You know, the guy who married her because he loved her despite the absolute honker of a nose that she hated.
Devyn Aiken, 30, from Philadelphia, feels she can do better now after upgrading her nose and getting a touch of lip filler too…

Welp, bet her husband never smelled that one coming. There’s no indication from the article in the NY Post that her husband was an @rsehole or that he made fun of her nose 24/7 or anything like that, but I guess it can’t have been a happy marriage if one nose job is all it took to end it.
Although maybe she did just look in the mirror after her nose job and realise that she was now out of his league, at least aesthetically? Seven years of marriage down the drain, just like that!
Now look, obviously we all need to do what makes us happy in life, so fair play to Devyn Aiken in that regard. Apparently she saved up a long time to be able to afford her nose job, and credit to her – her face is much improved. Still, $11,000?! How was that price calculated? $1,000 per inch removed?
Aiken told the NY Post:
“I wake up and feel so much happier. I get to live the rest of my life feeling like this.”
“Middle school was a really tough time for me. I struggled immensely because of the bullying from boys.
“It’s changed my life. I had a lot of time to recover after the nose job and it made me think, ‘I need to finally get the divorce so I can move on with my life.’”
“I’m dating, exclusively dating, and having so much fun.”
Fair enough really. It must have been tough going to school with a schnoz like that and having the boys call her Pinocchio and whatnot every day. The important thing is that Devyn is now happy, even if does absolutely suck for her husband (and for her future kids who have a good chance of inhering her original nose). C’est la vie.
