The WWE universe was stunned last weekend when John Cena finally turned heel and joined forces with The Rock & rapper Travis Scott. Well apparently, no one told Travis Scott that WWE is scripted, because he joined in the beat-down for real and reportedly left Cody Rhodes with a black eye and ruptured eardrum:
Craziest part of the John Cena heel turn was obviously Travis Scott standing in the corner the whole time smoking a blunt and then absolutely wrecking Cody Rhodes’ face https://t.co/U2R1NorFay

No one was quite sure what Travis Scott was doing there in the first place, but he clearly had a good time because he was like a little kid in a candy shop following the segment as he met with Triple H backstage:

Have to say, even though it was completely baffling that Travis Scott was part of one of the most shocking segments in WWE history, it is very cool to see how fired up he was about it afterwards. Great to see a man catch the wrestling bug like that in real time!
Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer did confirm that Cody Rhodes suffered a black eye and ruptured eardrum as a result of Travis Scott’s ill-placed smack, so he’d better get some training in if this goes where we think it’s going and Travis Scott ends up wrestling a match for himself in the near future. From the looks of it, he’s fully a part of the Road to Wrestlemania, and may even have a match there on the biggest stage of them all! Thoughts and prayers with his opponent in advance.
