No one’s quite sure what the hell is going on with Kanye West these days, after he first paraded his wife around naked at the Grammy’s and then went on wild Twitter binge where he said he was proud Nazi, repeatedly slated Jews, black people and white people, defended P Diddy, and then shared a bunch of hardcore porn clips before finally having his account suspended.
Well, this week, a former marketing staffer for Kanye West has filed a fresh lawsuit against the rapper, alleging that he fired her after calling her ugly and then text her “Heil Hitler.”
The staffer, who is Jewish, claims that Kanye would routinely target his Jewish employees with hateful and antisemitic comments, which isn’t too hard to believe at this point. It’s actually harder to believe that there are Jewish people still willing to work for him?
The lawsuit, filed in L.A. Superior Court, includes text messages from West to employees in which he wrote “I Am A Nazi,” and “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
The former employee claims that Kanye hired her in December 2023, then subjected her to antisemitic abuse from January – June 2024. Eventually, Kanye issued an apology to her in Hebrew (lol). The truce didn’t last long however, and Kanye soon text her to proclaim “I am a Nazi” and resumed the abuse.
At one point, he fired her before immediately rehiring her and doubling her salary. Weeks later, he sent a text to her and other employees asking “What the F– Is Everybody Here Getting Paid?”.
According to the suit, he then went on an extended rant on a group chat, comparing himself to Hitler and berating her. Later that evening, the suit alleges, he continued to attack her, calling her ugly and stupid, and saying “Come destroy me b****.” She was fired the next day.
The plaintiff’s lawyer, Carney Shegerian, said in a statement:
“Ye waged a relentless and deliberate campaign of antisemitism and misogyny against my client. His appalling treatment of women and fixation on Nazism, evident in abusive texts where he repeatedly calls himself Hitler, expose his motives. We need to stop excusing Ye’s behavior. As a father, husband, and employer, he must be held accountable. Ye dared my client to sue, and we will see him in court.”
Incredible. I wonder if Kanye West actually believes that he and Hitler would have been pals back in the day? What’s really crazy is that Kanye could release an album tomorrow and have it go straight to #1, even with all this drama following him around for the last year. The guy is uncancellable in a world where cancelling people is the internet’s favourite hobby!
Then again, we are now living in a time where it seems his antisemitic sentiments are shared by many in the online world. But that’s a whole other story…
This unnamed staffer is not the only former Kanye employee suing the rapper; he’s also being sued by an ex-assistant who claims he would masturbate over the phone to her.
