Kyle Walker has spent the last 8 years in England winning everything there is to win with Manchester City, and so it makes sense that the 34-year-old is now eyeing a ludicrous £400,000-a-week move to Saudi Arabia, with reports that Al-Nassr are interested in signing him this January.
It could also mean that Kyle Walker’s long-suffering wife Annie Kilner gives their marriage another chance. In fact, Annie Kilner is reportedly now back in the marital home with Walker and their four kids as she is currently having ‘second thoughts’ about divorcing the Man City star.
Previously, Kilner was allegedly fighting to get half of Walker’s £27 million fortune, but it seems that there is now a positive resolution on the cards. Could Walker’s imminent move to Saudi Arabia have anything to do with it?

He’s a top target for the Saudi Arabia clubs and if he decides to take a deal it’ll be life-changing — and not just because of the massive amount of money he’ll be making. Annie is no fool. She sought legal advice about the finances last year and knows that the deal in Saudi is worth a lot. Annie says it’s not about the cash but keeping their family together, yet his earning potential is something she will have thought about. She is savvy and has been mapping out a plan for a long time. Annie always puts the children first but she has to think about herself too — and financially she wants to know she would be secure whatever happens between them. Kyle has assured her that whatever happens, she would have the financial support.”
Don’t forget, Kyle Walker can legally have multiple wives in Saudi Arabia, which you’d think would be a major bonus for someone who’s proven himself to be the h0rniest footballer in the Premier League these last few years. Maybe he and Annie can come to some sort of arrangement in Saudi Arabia that they couldn’t in the UK?

One or two season of oil money and boom – he can retire and take care of his family for generations to come (he could probably do that already, but still). Then again, it’s hard to tell exactly how many families he’s got to take care of at this point.
Anyway, fair play to Annie Kilner for not rushing the divorce and instead weighing up her options at this time. Who knows? Maybe this Saudi move can turn out to be a win-win for both of them. Although imagine if Kyle Walker himself now pushes to get the divorce finalised before the Saudi move? Proper captain material.
