Remember that crazy story about the man in Manchester who would lure drunk men back to his apartment, drug them and then have sex with their unconscious bodies while filming it all for his sick, perverted pleasure?
By the time 41-year-old Reynhard Sinaga was sentenced to life in prison in 2020, he had been linked to over 200 rapes and 190 potential victims.
Well, it turns out things haven’t been going too great for Reynhard Sinaga at HMP Wakefield, where he’s currently in Year 4 of his life sentence (40 years to be exact). Apparently (and understandably) he’s very unpopular in the prison and was recently the victim of an assault by fellow inmates, who may have killed him if prison guards didn’t intervene.
A source told The Sun that Sinaga is ‘arrogant and universally loathed’, adding: ‘He was seconds away from extremely serious harm. He is in danger.’
Prisoner Jack McRae, 32, has been charged with attempted GBH with intent of Sinaga. Sinaga has now been moved to HMP Frankland in County Durham, where I guess they’re hoping there are fewer inmates around who would try to attack the most notorious rapist in Britain.
Given that Sinaga has 36 years left of his 40-year sentence, I can’t imagine that this is the last time he’ll be the victim of a vicious assault. In fact, it would be pretty surprising if he makes it to the end of his sentence, given how unpopular he is with other inmates.
Ultimately, Sinaga was convicted of 159 sexual offences, which is an absolutely outrageous number of rapes. Because he drugged his victims with GHB, they had little or no memory of the hours after they arrived at his home, with many unaware they had even been attacked. He was only caught because his final teenage victim woke up as Sinaga was trying to rape him, and beat him up before calling the police.

Well anyway, Sinaga’s best bet may be to try and make some new buddies over at HMP Frankland where he’s been transferred to. From the sounds of it, I don’t think there’ll be many takers.
