Instead of apologising or just calmly refuting the allegations of sexual misconduct made against him recently, Gregg Wallace had the genius idea to film a video of himself blaming it on ‘middle-class women of a certain age’, which obviously didn’t go down well and just created more ill-will and backlash against the former Masterchef host.

Well, he’s now released another video which is an attempt at an apology for the comments he made. Here’s how that turned out:

Ah, the classic “I want to apologise for any offence caused” non-apology, followed by a bunch of excuses for why he said what he said. I really can’t remember the last time the internet sided with a bunch of ‘middle-class women of a certain age’ AKA Karens over anything, so it just goes to show how much of a tw@t everything thinks Gregg Wallace is.

Does Gregg Wallace even have a PR team? All he had to do at the very beginning of this saga was say he made a few ill-judged comments that he considered to be friendly banter, and that he will take some time out to think about what he said and work on himself for the future. Instead, he decided to make some brand new stupid comments about his accusers and follow that up with the worst non-apology of all time.

He’ll probably blame the ‘woke mob’ next and find himself presenting his own weekly segment on GB News. Honestly wouldn’t surprise us in the least. Watch this space…
