Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Think about all the young kids in the audience! Think about all those parents who accompanied them to the show and suddenly realised what type of filth their children are listening to on their AirPods? I’m guessing they weren’t aware the lyrics on this girl’s latest album include “I’m so f***ing horny” and “I like the way you fit / God bless your dad’s genetics, mm, uh.”

In all seriousness, I don’t think it’s fair that Sabrina Carpenter is getting so much backlash over this. I mean, she’s 25 years old and clearly not a Disney kid anymore. Surely it’s up to the parents to make sure they’re not taking their 12-year-olds to Sabrina Carpenter gigs, or to at least vet her music beforehand.
I mean, all Sabrina Carpenter is doing is following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, and all the other sexually-charged female musicians who paved the way for her. What do they expect her to do? Belt out tunes without any perversions whatsoever? Sorry, that’s not how it works in 2024.
