Finally, the time has come. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will square off tonight (Friday November 15) live on Netflix, with the whole world praying to the boxing Gods that Iron Mike manages to KO ‘The Problem Child’ in the first round and restore order to the boxing universe.
But before that, he’s just slapped him across the face at the face-offs…

Now admittedly, I thought at first that this was all staged – I know, what a cynic! But another angle appears to show Jake Paul accidentally step on Tyson’s toe as he gets on the stage, which is what prompts Tyson to lash out:
Never step on Mike Tyson’s foot
or he will SLAP THE HELL OUT OF YOU‼️

Fair play to Jake Paul – he took that slap quite well. The real concern is that the 31-year age gap will be too great and that 27-year-old Jake Paul will simply be too quick and strong for 58-year-old Iron Mike, and after tonight we’ll have to listen to him brag about how he bested the greatest boxer of all time for years to come. Why would Mike Tyson risk his aura, legacy and reputation at this stage of his life? Is he really putting that all on the line for a few million?
Interestingly, he also gave an interview yesterday to a young child where he spoke (rather terrifyingly and hilariously) about how legacy doesn’t matter:

Too funny, although I hope it doesn’t suggest that he’s going into this fight with any other mentality than to KO Jake Paul and leave him snoozing on the canvas. Come on Iron Mike! Make it happen.
